Mr. Kennedy is a Camp Hill native who grew up in the area and worked with his father in the railroad business. He is the President/CEO of TRAC – The Railroad Associates Corporation, a Camp Hill based company that provides repair and maintenance of railroad sidings across the country. TRAC was formed in 2000 and less than a decade later was named one of 15 top small workplaces in the US by the Wall Street Journal.
Mr. Kennedy is an entrepreneur that is inspired through the redevelopment of industries and properties. From the railroad business; in 2013, Mike saw an opportunity to convert the old Sun Motors on the Carlisle Pike into retail/office complex – now known as The Hampden Terminal. The Hampden Terminal now a destination on the West Shore. The energy of this project fueled another significant redevelopment opportunity to restore the historic wonder of the Allenberry Resort. Together with his partner Jim Hoffman, they envisioned how the Allenberry could be restored to the place that it is today.
